At Chinta Tours, we believe that travelling is not only about discovering beautiful places and experiencing new cultures. It is also an opportunity to connect with local communities and make a positive difference.
Through our School Donation Project, our clients can support children in Sri Lanka by bringing or purchasing useful school items during their visit and personally giving them to children who need them.
Rather than distributing items without understanding local needs, we aim to work with school teachers, community representatives, and regional government administrative officers to identify the materials that would be most useful and ensure that they are given to the children who need them most.

We encourage our clients to choose practical items that can genuinely benefit the children.
Chinta Tours does not collect, receive or manage any money from our clients for this donation project.
The donation remains completely under the control of the client. You may purchase the items yourself in Sri Lanka or bring them from your home country.
Chinta Tours’ role is simply to coordinate and manage the donation program by helping arrange the school or community visit and making it possible for our clients to meet the children and give the items directly.
There is no requirement to make a cash donation to Chinta Tours.
One of the most special parts of this project is that our clients can personally hand the school items to the children.
Instead of simply leaving a donation somewhere, you can meet the children, talk with them, share a smile and see their happiness when they receive something useful for their education.
We believe this personal connection can make the experience meaningful for both the children and our guests.
