Yes. Every Chinta Tours trip is a private tour for you and the people travelling with you. You travel in an air-conditioned car or van with your own English-speaking driver, from airport pickup to your departure drop. Our tours run from 4 to 21 days, and each one can be adjusted to suit your pace and interests. See all tours.
Pick a tour, or tell us what you have in mind, then send us an inquiry with your travel dates and how many people are travelling. We will send you a plan and a price for your trip. You can also message us on WhatsApp at +94 77 674 3744.
Yes. Every tour can be adjusted to suit you. If none of our itineraries is quite right, tell us your interests and dates and we will put together a custom Sri Lanka itinerary and price, built just for you. Tell us what you would like.
We can arrange budget, standard and luxury hotels, depending on your preference and budget. Let us know which you would like when you send your inquiry and we will plan around it. Our Ayurveda holiday uses villa accommodation.
On our standard tours the price includes hotel accommodation for the nights of your tour, breakfasts and dinners (each tour page shows the exact number), an air-conditioned car or van with an English-speaking driver from airport pickup to departure drop, safari jeeps with a driver for the safaris in your itinerary, entrance tickets to the places mentioned in the itinerary, train tickets where your tour includes a train journey, and drinking water while travelling.
The "Included" section on each tour page lists the details for that tour.
Anything not listed under "Included" on the tour page is not part of the price. On our standard tours that means meals other than the breakfasts and dinners listed (for example lunches), international flights, travel insurance, visa or ETA fees, and your personal expenses such as shopping and drinks. If you are unsure about something, ask us and we will confirm it for your tour.
Visa and ETA requirements depend on your nationality, so please check the latest rules before you travel. As of 25 May 2026, nationals of 40 specified countries are eligible for a free tourist ETA for 30 days, subject to the applicable conditions, and an ETA is still required under this scheme. Use the official Sri Lankan immigration website to check and apply, and read our Sri Lanka visa guide for a step-by-step explanation.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for international visitors. Depending on your policy, it can cover medical emergencies, trip interruption, baggage problems and other unexpected events, so please check your policy carefully before you travel.
It depends on where you are going. The south-west coast, the east coast and the hill country each have different dry seasons, so the best time depends on your route. Each destination page lists its best months, and our guide to the best time to visit Sri Lanka explains it month by month.
Our Sri Lanka travel instructions cover passports and visas, what to pack, money, etiquette at temples, safety, health, electricity and emergency numbers. When you land at Bandaranaike International Airport, your Chinta Tours representative or driver will assist you according to your tour arrangements.
